About Us
Home From Home Doggy Day Care is a family run, dog loving, 5 Star, business. Jo and James head up the team, all of whom love doggos, and are passionate about ensuring they have a safe and fun time in our care.
Our ethos has always been to provide your doggos with a home away from home. We have been running since 2016, and our journey began at our family home with a small number of dogs. Jo started the business to combine her love for dogs and the demands of family life, to ensure she was available to her daughter who has scoliosis.
Jo soon had a waiting list, as her reputation grew, and it became clear that there was not enough space at home to cater for the number of dogs that wished to come to us! James joined Jo in running the business, and we opened our current premises in August 2019.
The search for the right premises was a long one as we were not willing to compromise on the quality of the environment we provided to our day care doggos, we were adamant we would find somewhere where we could retain the home from home feeling. We walked into Unit 9 and Jo knew immediately that we could transform that empty unit into the day care you see today.
One of the most important things we have here is the sense of family. We love each and every dog that walks through the door. More over we try to build a relationship with the dog parents too, and try to offer help and support along the way. There is, after all, two ends to a lead!
